Operations Manager

About the job

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join their growing team in the exciting and fast-paced field of vaccines. Working within the EMEA region, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence for their vaccine portfolio. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply chain, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of vaccines to our customers across EMEA.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the daily operations of the EMEA vaccine supply chain, including forecasting, inventory management, production planning, logistics, and distribution.
Develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to optimize supply chain performance and minimize costs.


Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and smooth execution of the vaccine launch and ongoing supply.
Manage and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers and other external partners to ensure timely and compliant delivery of vaccines.
Analyze data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Maintain a deep understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Manage and develop a team of operations professionals, providing coaching and mentorship to support their professional growth.

About You:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare logistics industry, with a proven track record of success in managing complex supply chains.
Deep understanding of vaccine logistics and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDP, cGMP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement solutions to complex challenges.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience working in a remote environment and managing a geographically dispersed team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant supply chain management software.
