Fitness Coach

About the job

Join our team as a Fitness Coach and make a difference! 

Both men and women coaches are welcome to apply

Responsibilities:

Educate and motivate guests on safe and proper use of equipment
Develop personalized one-on-one and group workout programs based on individual needs and goals.
Conduct the minimum PT and group sessions as set by the management.
Lead engaging exercise sessions with clear instruction on exercise physiology and technique
Ensure guests understand and comply with gym policies
Design detailed workout programs using company provided software based on fitness assessments
Attend regular meetings and participate in ongoing training opportunities
Promote gym facilities, programs, and group classes
Assist injured guests until medical professionals arrive
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Pursue additional fitness certifications (company may offer support)
Maintain a clean and organized gym environment

Skills and Qualifications:

Preferred candidate should have a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in sport science (Candidates who have no degree but have the professional hands-on experience and a great attitude will be considered as well)
Preferred if the candidate has undertaken 2-3 training courses related to physical training
Preferred candidates with additional qualifications i.e.: nutritionists, physical therapists, rehab coaches, bodybuilding coaches, etc..
Basic computer and Microsoft office skills
Good proficiency of English Language
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with a diverse clientele
Ability to motivate and inspire individuals to reach their potential
