Practice Manager - Law Firm

Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking an experienced Practice Director to join their team in Kuwait City.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where your expertise will be valued and your contributions recognised. You will be responsible for preparing annual budgets, monitoring performance against these budgets, analysing profitability, and assisting partners with business planning. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of a leading law firm.

What you'll do:

As Practice Director, you will play a pivotal role within our client's law firm. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure financial stability and growth by preparing annual budgets, monitoring performance, and identifying opportunities for increased profitability. You will also be instrumental in fostering relationships with both existing and potential clients through careful analysis of referrals. Furthermore, you will support partners in developing their personal business plans, manage certain business services roles, and take on special projects as needed. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining a keen eye for detail.


Prepare an annual budget for the expected revenue and profit of each team and office
Monitor actual performance on a monthly basis against budget and analyse reasons for any deviations
Engage in regular discussions with management on how to improve the profitability of existing work flows


Analyse possibilities for revenue growth from both existing clients and new clients
Analyse referrals and assist with mapping these referrals to focus relationship building efforts
Assist partners in the preparation of their personal business plans
Manage certain business services roles that report to the Practice Director
Undertake special projects as required
