About the job

Kuwait Society for the Handicapped (KSH), is a nonprofit organization in the State of Kuwait that renders services to people with disabilities, is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader to join our team as the Principal of a Vocational and Rehabilitation Center, a newly established institution dedicated to providing exceptional training and support for individuals with disabilities who are above 18 years old.



As the principal, you will spearhead the strategic direction and operational management of this institution. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing day-to-day operations, fostering a positive and inclusive culture, and ensuring the center’s growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Design and execute a strategic vision aligned with our partnership with Derwen College in the UK to ensure progress towards the center’s mission, guiding its growth and impact within the field of vocational training for peoplefwith disabilities.
Operational Management: Design and execute yearly operational plan that ghat works towards achieving all the center’s goals. Including KPIs for measuring the percentage of achievement. 
Following up the Development of Vocational Programs: Collaborate with the Derwen College team in the UK and experts to ensure the implementation of innovative and tailored programs that cater to diverse learning needs, ensuring each student receives personalized support.


Community Engagement: Following up on the execution of the centre’s marketing plan by fostering strong relationships with different stakeholders in the local community. Following up the public relations performance and building strong relations with families, local communities, and relevant stakeholders to create a supportive network that enhances students' educational experiences.
Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, implement best managerial practices, and maintain high-quality standards across all aspects of the center.
Other Tasks: Performs any other duties assigned by the relevant authority. 

Qualifications, experience, and skills required:

A bachelor’s degree in education or management.
At least 5 years of experience in a management role, preferably in an educational or vocational training institution for people with disabilities.
Proven leadership experience in education, preferably in disabilities or inclusive education settings.
A visionary leader with a deep understanding of special education practices and a commitment to inclusivity and diversity.


Strong strategic planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams, drive innovation, and inspire positive change.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
Preference is given to those holding a PhD in the field of education or a master’s degree.
