What does Playnetic do?

Established in 2023, Playnetic is a new player in the world of gaming entertainment. We design and build slot games from scratch - from idea to release. Our games will be played in regulated markets globally through industry-leading operators.
Our innovative gaming content is centered around our core values: quality gaming, dedicated customer service, and reliable delivery to our partners.
We're currently in a phase of growth and will scale considerably over the next 12 months. As a fully remote studio, we understand the importance of staying connected and maintaining team collaboration. We are continually mindful of this as we grow and have the tools and support in place to help us all flourish.


Join our team as an Art Director and bring your extensive expertise in game production and strong illustration skills to lead the art team effectively.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the product owner, game designer, and principal animators to define the game's visual style and set and maintain quality benchmarks.
You'll be responsible for documenting style guides and production procedures, diving into senior-level production tasks within your speciality, shaping the artistic vision, and establishing quality standards.
Beyond the technical aspects, your role extends to playing a pivotal mentoring role, inspiring and motivating team members to thrive in our creative and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Craft the game's Art Direction with precision and creativity.
Create comprehensive art documentation for game production.
Showcase excellent planning and task scheduling skills for top-notch animations.
Coach and mentor team members, supporting their professional growth.
Ensure the game meets visual quality standards.
Provide clear and constructive feedback on art and animation.
Serve as the main contact for outsourced teams.

Demonstrating an exceptional level of skill and judgment.
Being directly involved in all phases of game development, guiding strategic decisions.
Showcasing a proven track record of planning and overseeing discipline-specific deliveries.
Boosting team morale and supporting fellow artists as needed.
Handling business-oriented tasks, including cross-discipline pipeline development.
Bringing experience in mentoring junior artists and fostering collective growth.
Presenting an outstanding portfolio showcasing superb illustration skills.
Managing business-level tasks, including cross-discipline pipeline development.
Demonstrating skill in working with game engines.
Applying practical experience in slot games or mobile games.
